This will be a mountain bike-centric review. I hit the trails here as part of a road trip from Colorado to Oregon. Boise is known for their trail system & I wanted to check it out. I did about a 30 mile ride, so this...More

Went to pier for sunset and it was spectacular. What a great overview of Boise what a great sunset! Something you should do if you’re in Boise!

Easy to moderate trails nothing crazy. Wide and well kept. We did notice several bags of dog poop left on side of trails, to be picked up on way down. Then we noticed that there wasn’t that many people hiking with their dogs...hmmm...did they forget...More

Enjoyed a beautiful evening hike up Table Rock. It is roughly a 3.5 mile route but there are many options to add on a loop. It definitely gets the heart rate up but there were families with small children and the little ones were doing...More

Outstanding trail system, from easy to challenging. So whether you are hiking or biking you can find a trail that you will enjoy.

Put on your hiking shoes, grab a bottle of water, slather on some sunscreen, and slap on a wide-brim hat. Oh, and don't forget your camera to capture the awesome scenery!

So many people live here and fall in love with Boise because of the ease of access to the outdoors. My wife and I are lucky enough to live 100 feet from a trail access point and we find ourselves out on the trails several...More

After visiting the Old Penitentiary we set off up the trails, looping around a longer route to check out the rock formations on trail#18 before looping back on #15 to head up to Table Rock. This is a well developed trail, with an elevation gain...More
