If you like to hike, I recommend the Table Rock trails in the east foothills of Boise. We hiked the Table Rock Quarry trail. We ended up a little detour that added about three quarters of a mile to our hike, but it was all...More

Not sure why this even warrants a review. Ridge to Rivers is a huge, awesome, well maintained trail system that is basically in town. Walk, Run and Ride it all! Fantastic bike trails, and a great place to see the city from above if you...More

We visited Boise in March 2017 and hiked the Ridge to River Trail System every day. There are trails and allow dogs off leash and we hiked for several hours each day. We plan to return on our next visit!

This little stroll is a refreshing getaway from the city. Not real aesthetic yet quiet. Pretty easy walk, could be challenging for bike.

Rented bikes and rode for hours, beautiful setting and very good paths. We are frequent riders, but decided to get cruisers and that was a good choice - very flat, casual riding.

I agree with Jennifer. There aren't many flat land places to ride (other than surface streets) these days due to flooding. I might suggest renting a mountain bike at any of the great shops we have in Boise, and hit the... More
