Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a very well done memorial to all the people that have suffered in the world, not only Anne Frank. We spent quite a bit of time reading all of the quotations, and having time to meditate after we walked about the area. Very thought provoking, and well done.

This is a small park that has walls with quotes from Anne Frank’s diary mixed in with a large variety of quotations on the theme of human rights from different well-known people. It is a peaceful spot. There is a small parking lot next to it. Allow at least 30 minutes, longer if you really want to read all the quotes.

This was my second visit to the memorial and what a change from last year! The one section that was closed then was open this time, which included Anne Frank's attic room, an open area of the floor plan, including the staircase, in which she, family and friends, stayed for two years. An added bonus was being guided by a volunteer who presented historical information about Anne. One intriguing bit of info was about the tree that was outside Anne's window: Boise is one of nine places in the United States that received actual seeds of the original oak tree. Although the tree on display was not of that seed (the actual tree is being grown and becoming weather-hearty in a closed facility to be permanently planted at the memorial in the near future), it nonetheless gave me the impression of what Anne looked at from her attic window- th longing to ne a normal teenager and to run and play. The fall colors in the area added to nuance and the feeling of impact Anne's diary words left many of us in the world.
A must-see!

I came across this Park driving on my way to Washington through Idaho.
first of all it's completely free to all visitors.
I was moved by the Audio story telling at each post, You had to go through the park to hear all of them in sequence.( I loved that you had to spin a wheel like a phonograph, to hear the recording, nice touch, really put you in the time frame.)
As you walked through the park there were statues and benches with quotes and even a large concrete book, with words from her diary embossed on it.. It was Peaceful there that cold February day when I visited, I enjoyed this experience very much, it is definitely worth it to stop and listen..

Beautiful site, behind the library in the greenbelt. Right beside a 1911 Post truss bridge that spans the Boise River. In June 2014, it is partially under repair but 75% of the site, and the most memorable parts, are all accessible. Moving quotes etched into the stone walls - perseverance, hope, strength, longing. Look for it.

This memorial is beautifully done. The carefully chosen quotes each deserve time to mull over and thankfully there are well placed benches to allow one to do just that. The sun can be punishingly hot in Boise and there is little shade. I definitely recommend going but don't try it when the sun is high. This beautiful place is a very intentional antidote to Idaho's tarnished reputation because of resident militia groups.

What a wonderful place to visit. Serene memorial with waterfalls, reflecting pools, lots of info about Anne Frank. There are walls with quotes from Anne Frank, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi, Eleanor Roosevelt and others. For my wife, who knew very little about Anne Frank and what she went through, finally dying of starvation in the concentration camp, it was an eye opening, emotional experience. DO NOT MISS when in Boise.

Following the visit of a traveling Anne Frank exhibit to Boise several years ago, this permanent memorial to Anne Frank, as well as the issue of global human rights, was established in the heart of Boise near the Boise Public Library. This is a wonderful opportunity to educate yourselves and your children on not only the life of Anne Frank, but also issues which continue to be a worldwide problem even today. A must see! Enjoy!

Although some of the newer area was under construction, I still enjoyed and appreciated the self-paced tour. Enhanced by the sound and visual nuance, poignant quotes of Ms Frank's were easy to read and stood out along with time and era-appropriate words from leaders and other know figures during that period of time. Through the fence where a soon-to-be-open section as being constructed, I could see a tree, which was started as a seed from the original tree that was outside the house in which Anne and her family hid during the war.

You must see this memorial if you're in Boise. So amazing and easy to get to. Tranquil and inspiriting. I would recommend to anyone visiting Boise. The new additions are going to enhance the area.

I'd like to know how close it is to downtown. We have not picked a hotel yet and we usually travel with public transportation or on foot. It sounds worth going out of our way for .... Thanks Mike

It's fairly centrally located, about a 9 minute walk from the Grove Hotel down town and also extremely close to both Julia Davis and Ann Morrison park. It's right next to the river and is very lovely.
