Nice to have a greenbelt that goes quite a few miles. The downside is parts of the greenbelt have been built up so much with offices and homes/apartments that some of its appeal is gone.

When we moved here, we fell in love with the Greenbelt. We couldn't believe the miles and miles of paved trail along such a scenic view of the gorgeous Boise River. It's been our favorite part of Boise.

We continue to be impressed with Boise’s greenbelt. Awesome biking and walking along the river and through town without crosswalks and traffic. One of Boise’s best experiences!

When You just starting driving up the river you will notice on the Left side of the road places to Park. The River is swift so be careful not to go in. What a Super nice river to have cut through the City of Boise. I'm up in... More

I suggest taking the Broadway or Vista exit and head towards downtown. You will see Boise State University and the green belt is on the other side of the river behind the University. That is the easiest landmark to help you... More
