The Christmas train is a great family activity. My husband and I went for an anniversary activity and then took the whole family a few days after Christmas. It was a great family activity and the price was great too. When went at a non-peak time for $9 each. All of the regular displays were open. There was a Christmas... More

Took three of our grandchildren for the first time to visit the Okefenokee Swamp Park in Waycross. They enjoyed all the exhibits and snake show and climbing the tower. Fun day. We didn't get to go on the boat trip due to water level, but saw plenty of alligators and other animals. They loved it.

My wife and I went to the park with my mother. It was a short trip but worth the money. The train ride was informative. The live animal exhibit was enjoyable. The people were knowledgeable of the animald. Would recommend.

We visited this tucked away place while on our southbound migration. It was fun and informative. A nice park with a great animal show/talk, good snack bar, great gift shop and a train ride through the swamp. Since it was December the still had their Christmas lights up so that was a bonus. They do have a boat tour also... More

Wow, on staff & display of lights everywhere. Train ride was the first order of the night at 6p.m. Then on for hot chocolate or your choice of hot beverage for a$1, by the way thanks for not over pricing it was great. Then on to Santa on the way to amphitheater 7p.pm. Learned so much. Then on to heated... More

Who knew a 40 year old man would enjoy a swamp so much. We went for a hike to the observatory that looks out over the park. This was the highlight for his entire vacation. He proudly wears his Okefenokee Swamp shirt everywhere now.

NO PETS for obvious reasons (they have alligators. ..its a swamp...wear appropriate clothing and closed toed sneakers/shoes) Go when the park OPENS to take full advantage of the day at this amazing family adventure! Everyone was so hospitable! We took the boat tour but (sadly, didn't get there EARLY in the day so we missed the train ride :-( )... More
