Fish hatcheries are always interesting, and this one especially so because they have an alligator. There are also gar, suckers, carp, huge catfish, and lots of small fish fighting over the food pellets you can purchase. There is also a small aquarium. Best thing, it's free and entertaining.

Surprisingly beautiful and very interesting. Great place to enjoy your lunch or to just take in the sights. Also, your kids will love it! Try to spot the alligator.

It doesn't take long to see the fish. For a little money, you can buy feed and toss it to them. We spent only a few minutes there on a very hot day.

Great place for a 30 minute stop to see and feed the fish. Inside there is a small aquarium exhibit with several fish displays. Restrooms are available at this building. Ponds surround the building. For a quarter, you can purchase some food to feed the fish. This was popular with my daughters. An alligator can be seen in a separate... More

We enjoyed hiking the Pine Mountain Trail and took many great pictures from the scenic drive offs on state road 190. I can see why FDR fell in love with the area

On a recent trip to Columbus we decided to return home via Warm Springs to visit the Little White House. After completing the tour of the Little White House we were looking for things to do after lunch. When we heard about the Regional Fisheries Center we decided to take a look. While the Aquarium portion is by no means... More

Located on the southeast corner of Warm Springs. Large, well maintained, clean grounds with several natural pools. Small indoor aquarium with several displays and local fish. Free admission !!! The pools were not as full of fish as I thought they would be, but they were very clean; saw some minnows, bass, gars, turtles, frogs, and even a small Eastern... More

We were passing through Warm Springs and saw the signs for this place. It was nice to walk around the ponds and feed the fish. Bring some quarters for the fish food. There was also an alligator in one of the ponds. Don't worry it is well separated from visitors.

We are used to western fish hatcheries so this was a little disapointing. Clean and seemingly well maintained. Nice to be encluded with a visit to Warm Springs. Thank you for the opportunity to visit......

I have been to many fish hatcheries, and I appreciate that this one had natural pools rather than cement runs. We also enjoyed the inside aquarium with the unique white gar fish. We were a little disappointed that some of the outside pools were very muddy and no fish were visible in them.
