Great park to go for a walk and see wildlife. I love to for the quite and see and hear birds. Also you could get a chance to see a gator.

Grand Bay is one of my favorite places to go for a quick 1-2 mile walk. It provides a winding boardwalk through a natural environment. Understand that you are walking in a swampy habitat. The boardwalk does have railings up but those railings could have...More

We were visiting family in the area and heard about the Grand Bay Wildlife Management Area. We went on an overcast day with temps in the high 70s and wore PLENTY of insect repellent. On the drive in we saw a turtle sunning itself on...More

A friend and walked the path set up to go through the wetlands at the Grand Bay Wildlife Center. Wow! What a beautiful area. One walks through four distinct ecosystems. There is signage posted to explain the different areas, along with signs that point out...More

An undiscovered delight for locals. For those who love nature it is a great walk through the low country, swampy terrain common in south Ga. The walk is peaceful and I have most often walked it alone. At the end of the wooden walkway is...More

The boardwalk wind their way into the wetlands ending in a tall observation tower. Very scenic and peaceful. The restrooms are not particularly clean and are teeming with mosquitoes. But well worth the 25 minute drive from Valdosta.

This is a nice walk on boardwalks above the swamp. It does have benches along the way. It is nice to see the changes throughout the year. I wish the classroom area was open to the public during the weekends.

We never got to see this place so gave it an average rating based on previous reviews and our own experience. Other reviews were terrific. We were in Valdosta and used our GPS to find this wildlife park. Unfortunately, the last leg of the route...More

Beautiful walk in nature, to a tower that allows you to see quite a distance. Another family saw a snake and alligator with babies
