Shane was very helpful. He recommended kayaking early in the morning so the tides would be in our favor. We will use North Island again.

Shane was fantastic to deal with. He gave great advice about the best time and places to go relative to the tides - that is really important to a good experience on the backwater. Great location - hanging out at next door Bubba Gumbos for some food and drink after capped off a perfect day.

This tour was awesome! These two know what they are doing. Got to see and learn so much. If you have any questions, they have answers. The dolphins just follow the shrimp boats to the docks. I was amazed how close they were. My first time in a kayak. Def need more practice doing that.

It was a very good experience for all of them because most of them had never kayaked before. Being so close to the water was a new experience for many of the students. They saw dolphins,... More

My daughter, grandson, and I took the guided kayak tour. Daughter and grandson took one double, and I opted to ride with the guide because I wasn't sure I could paddle the whole time. Shawn was gracious about having company in his kayak, and turns out, I did just fine. But I got the best tour.....as the others either raced... More
