We loved the beach

Water warmer than Maine!! It was bearable to ride the waves. The beach was very clean and the area lovely.

So if you don't care about getting in the water, then you'll be fine. If you do, it might help you to know the water is gray/brown and very murky. Want to see what is in the water with you? You can't. The jellyfish are plentiful. Due to the Savannah river, yes the water is brown and full of silt.... More

It was pleasant and quiet the day we visited but it was only a few days after a bad hurricane and the off season too. I am a jersey girl so this beach was nothing compared to our NJ beaches but still it is a great local spot and when in season I am sure it is very nice.

It was cold when we went and not very many people were out. Pretty and relaxing. It was nice to just be able to walk on the beach and enjoy the scenery

I love this beach, and not only because I got engaged here. We are from Vancouver Island, BC Canada, and on a stormy day, it felt like we were at home. The sand is a bit nicer on Tybee Island though! We got to experience a stormy day, and a sunny day. Both were amazing. The piers, sea grass, waves... More

Although it was December it was a nice sunny day with awesome views. You can see forever out into the Atlantic and down the beach. If you're a shell collector, you'll find plenty for you collection. I would recommend this to all.

Loved loved loved the beach. Picked up 5 fresh sand dollars and other beautiful colorful shells. Saw Dolphins jumping not far out and sand was comparable to Florida. Want to go back for a week minimum. Would love to see RV park built where we could hear the beach at night in our big rig. Beautiful

I've been coming here all my life. It's a fun time in the summer, and a nice place for a quite, romantic stroll in the winter. The stars at night are breath taking!

The beach is a great place to go if you want to relax and swim of course there are pools at hotels but here you can play in the sand and go on the pavillion and get ice cream at the shops on the pavilion and you can go to the shops on tybrisha and go to wet willies

The beach is very nice. My son participated in the polar plunge 2017 and everything was very well planned. Even though there was a lot of people everything went great. The pier is very nice. Beach was very clean!

Thank Lisa J
