Amazing.

This place is absolutely amazing. The views from the restaurant are spectacular. The fresh catch is awesome. You can literally see the fisherman fishing while sitting at the restaurant. The service definetly deserves five starts. I highly recommend Boca de Yuma..

Quaint town with beautiful views
Jan. 2019 • Couples
We drove from Casa de Campo west in an effort to locate the west side of the national park, and in doing so happened upon this charming town of quiet streets and awesome views. We happened to be there in the afternoon; following a meal overlooking the water we drove up the road in an effort to find the park- we turned around due to significant mud but took a second road and found the caves. For a few pesos we were permitted entry and it is worth a stop- very cool formations- if you like someone will guide you to some purported ancient drawings (for a fee, of course). Following the short cave excursion we parked by the side of the road close to this site and found a local path by the cliffs, where many locals were fishing.
All in all a relaxing afternoon with no hard selling and just wandering the town.

Serenity and Charm

I absolutely loved this place. If you don’t visit anything else in The D.R. This is quite a phenomenal place to see.

There are a ton of restaurants to dine at that offer fresh catch seafood. You get to pick out which exact fish, crab and/or lobster you want.

Views are spectacular. From the trail that leads you to the tip of the island where you feel like you are in the middle of the ocean. To the area where seamen fish for fresh catch. It’s just perfect for those that are not into the hustle and bustle of Punta Cana.

The shops have a ton of handmade arts and crafts to purchase. The locals are friendly here and not pushy sales people.

We literally spent half a day here but I could totally do a couple days here. It’s quaint, serene, relaxing and charming. They even have a club or two for those that are into that.

I loved this town because of the people, it’s not touristy and it gives that hometown artsy district feel.

The harbour of Boca de Yuma is truly charming and dramatic. It is located in the south east section of the island. It is filled with fishing boats that ply the Ocean waters and fresh fish is always available in the several nearby restaurants.

It's a quiet area of this part of the island. One can enjoy a very quiet stay with seaside scenery and plain simplicity of life-style. If you're searching for noise stimulants it's not for you. It's a nature lover's destination.

Lazy Sunday afternoon

This is great, no noise, no tourist around. People here are down to earth. Even the policeman helped us find a place to park. Great places to take pictures/make memories. Many nice restaurants around.

Beautiful place but...

It's a beautiful place but it's far from everything and worse of all, everyone is trying to get money from you and bordering you to buy a boat ride, go in a restaurant or even pointing places for you to park your car and make a buck. A guy even fallowed me on a motorcycle just to try and sell me a boat ride. I will not return because of that, even being a beautiful place with a lot of potencial.

An Amazing view

This town has to be one of my favorites, with me being a beach and amazing views lover i just feel like it is the first time every time I go there. It is a really small town, but the blue and infinite sea makes it very attractive, local small restaurants with the best fried fish you will ever eat, such a family peaceful place. Recommended!

natural beauty, with no big tours
Jan. 2016 • Friends
A rental car is a must to get to Boca De Yuma, and it is well worth it. Get away from all the over crowded tours, and typical excursions. See the untouch natural beauty of the cliffs and sea.

the restaurant overlooking the cliffs is exceptional!! the server brought out a platter of fresh fish, and lobster for us to pick our meal. our group of 11 all ate fish, lobster, rice, and salad for $200. the server then hooked us up with a boat tour for $10 a person.

The area is breath taking, only sad thing is there is a ton of garbage all over the shore line.
