I've toured Pebble Hill several times but December and March/April are the best times to go! It's a beautiful, historically accurate home and grounds but when it's all dressed up for Christmas and flowers are in bloom in Spring it is spectacular! For those interested...More

We have visited plantations from Virginia south. This is by far the best. Beautiful home, outbuildings and grounds. The thing that really sets it off is all the furniture, china, personal items are original from the family. Don't miss this one.

Wonderful visit to this plantation several days before Christmas. I highly recommend a tour of the home, art gallery and grounds to learn about the history of Thomasville and this area of southwestern Georgia. Unfortunately, I did not record our guide's name, it may have...More

Beautiful grounds to explore. The self-guided walking tour takes about 45 minutes. Stunning live oaks draped in spanish moss cover the driveway on both sides as you drive to park. We enjoyed our time here and will return! See photo

An exceptionally well preserved property with very knowledgable tour guides. A great view into the lifestyles of the very wealthy and famous circa early 1900s and through thew 20th century.

We thank you for your visit. If you missed the video which is shown before touring, then you missed the story of the early history of the plantation. However, our docent should have given a brief overview of that early history as well. Pebble Hill...More

Beautiful grounds!! The wedding, reception and dinner were well put together. The bride and groom on the carriage through the lovely grounds was picture perfect. Enjoyed carriage house and stables. If we'd arrived earlier I think we would have toured the grounds more.

Very well preserved plantation. Try to tour at Christmas, its breathtaking! Some walking required if you want to tour the grounds, but its not a great distance. Not usually crowded. Check ahead for tour times, a lot of events are scheduled here, including weddings.
