Stopped for a very short visit of Stone Mountain on our way to Tn. Entered the gates and thought parking prices were a little steep especially not knowing if we would even be staying. However, the lady working there was very informative and helpful in directing us for the best attractions for our short visit. Decided per her advice to... More

When we booked this trip, I originally thought this would be a very cheesy park trying to suck the money out of tourists. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Don't get me wrong, the food is still expensive, but if you get a park pass, there are actually a lot of neat activities you can take part in.... More

Stone Mountain Park is a wonderful area to walk and enjoy nature. The laser show is awesome and well worth the 10 fee to access the park

My family had so much fun here. From the rope course to the train ride we enjoyed it all. The package we got online included free refills during the day which was very much appreciated since it was really hot. The splash pad for kids came in handy to cool us all off and the laser show at night was... More

i have been going here since grade school and have seen all the changes the park has made. It ws at first a place more so for nature, the train, boats, and skylift. Now it has become more of an attraction for tourist and kids. Not to say this is a bad thing because there are still very quiet areas... More

Stone Mountain is incredible! My husband and I hiked the mountain, rode the SkyView, completed the ropes course, toured Memorial Hall, and ate at the Market Place. We wished we had more than one day to explore everything. The park is super clean and the customer service is fantastic. We were greeted with a smile and a "my pleasure" by... More

The rocks sculpture is pretty cool. There's also an informative video which is free. Parking does cost but you don't have to pay to see the sculpture from afar. The rest of the park so also very pretty. We didn't do anything else there though so I can't say how much there is to do.

The laser light show is entertaining, complete with fireworks. We purchased an adventure pass, so was able to participate in the numerous attractions. The train ride included a show. It is better to visit here in the winter time because in the summer the heat is unbearable! I would also recommend coming here on a weekday when it is less... More

We stopped in Atlanta on our way home from Florida. Since we arrived after 4pm they had a discounted price for the adventure pass. We also splurged for the Terrace seats for the laser show which included drinks and popcorn. It was fairly hot when we visited. We took the sky ride to the top of the mountain. We were... More

Positives: Parking is close to the park. The girl working the ticket counter was pleasant. The mural is awesome and the lawn is gorgeous. The mountain is worth the trip up but be cautious with small children. There are some very steep areas that aren't fenced off. Negatives: The place seemed closed down as we walked around (during business hours).... More
