Miss the old map of lighted battle sites but the new display on the mountain itself was very nice. Enjoyed the movies about the mountain and about the Civil War. Hal Holbrook presented such a fair and honest account of history. We need that.

This was a fascinating place which told the story and explained how the carvng came about. The photographs were great. The exhibits and film were first-rate. Do not miss this at the park.

If you come to park why not to enter to Confederate Hall. Not big but nice geology and natural exhibition.
