Absolutely beautiful area to travel through. The bridge appears to have been recently restored and feels very safe to cross.

I live about 2 miles from the covered bridge and have always visited from time to time all my life. When I was younger, I used to eat lunch underneath the bridge and wade in the creek underneath, but that was a long time ago....More

Cobb county spent a lot of money to preserve this bridge. I don't travel it anymore because it is dangerous when it rains. I almost wrecked my corvette because of slippery board when they were wet. I was coasting through the bridge. Just be careful...More

There is a historical marker at the bridge giving some history on Ruff's Mill nearby in ruins along Nickajack Creek dating back to mid 1800's.

We were looking at homes in the Smyrna area and just happened upon this bridge on Concord Road. Certainly a unique little bit of history right here in the Atlanta suburbs.

This is something everyone should visit. They have gotten the repairs finished now and you can drive over it again. It is very old, but it has been completely repaired and still is one of those very unique attractions everyone should visit.
