Its a beautiful park. My kids enjoyed as we walked along the Chattahoochee. We always felt safe and saw people fishing, tubing and picnicking.

We were somewhat disappointed that the visitor didn't have more information of the history in that area and the river. There was really limited information on the area and trails. We didn't walk a lot of the trails but we feel that they weren't maintained...More

This is an absolutely amazing place to come relax and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or a nicely packed picnic on the well manicured lawn. I always come back here to gather my thoughts and take in the beauty of nature!

There are several trail areas in the park that offer a break from the urban life. Trails are generally easy with few if any inclines. Make sure that you have $'s for the parking.

I do not kayak, tube, canoe or swim in the river. I just don't trust the water quality. The river is the trash bin for Georgia! The hiking is great, however!
