Even in winter, this park is lovely—quiet and peaceful, even with the swollen Chattahoochee river. Interesting trails and lots of resting places.

This is one of the more quieter areas to hike along the Chattahoochee and the trails are generally well kept, although sometimes there are a lot of fall trees or branches.

Excellent place to hike, walk, run, and see wildlife. While I was there hiking with a group, I saw three deer, a Blue heron and other wildlife. In addition to wildlife and nature, there are some amazing views of the Chattahochee river on this trail....More
