So much history in this church. I came to visit after reading Eugenia Prices novels about the island and it made the book come to life by visiting and seeing names on the grave stones

Christ Church is featured in Eugenia Price novels and was the home parish of local Civil War officers and families. The wooden structure just feels holy. Take the time to visit the attached cemetery which dates back nearly 200 years.

The grounds are beautiful. Church is very nice with beautiful stained glass windows. It's amazing to see something that was built so long ago still being used for its intended purpose today. It's really amazing if you think about it!

Great stop with beautiful church and grounds. Gorgeous stained glass. Is a nice stop located close to Fort Frederica Monument. Will not take long to visit but worth a short stop.

Our tour on Saint Simons included a stop at Christ Church. The woodworking done that many years ago was amazing. Lots of history here.

St. Simons is a place of extraordinary history - and Christ Church, Frederica is sincerely at the heart of that history. Unless you are with a tour - try to visit CCF in the afternoon, when the church is open and Docents are available to tell much of the history - and direct you to some of the historic places... More

We went to the church to look for James Gould the builder of the lighthouse. He's is kinda hard to find. The inside of the church is beautiful, the grounds are like a park, and the history behind all the graves are very interesting. Look for the statue I called talk to the hand and the boy who has a... Lovely church & grounds, didn't get inside because it closes at 5. The ride there was about 20 minutes, very picturesque, out from the town.

They don't open until 2pm, but well worth the wait. Full of history and the tour person was well informed and made the story interesting. Beautiful love story. The stain glass windows are a must see.
