Well done

Good place to wander around a bit, signs are helpful with understanding the area but are worn due to the weather and time. The grounds are pretty and the staff is nice.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and yet you could enjoy a wonderful stroll through the grounds on your own and be completely informed. A slice of History everyone in America should know about. We decided to return here after having stopped here on the trolley tour circuit and gaining an insight into the history of this area. We were able to leisurely stroll, observe, and read the information in detail of this historical place.

Lots of history here, with a number of informative plaques spread through the old settlement. Gift shop and restrooms on site. The Bad: Not much for... More

Really neat historical location, lots of walking to enjoy the entire grounds. The movie was very interesting and helped to introduce what you would experience as you walked the grounds.

We happened to visit Fort Frederica on a day with many reenactors in period costume, so this very historic and beautiful spot was also very atmospheric!

I was on a bus tour of St. Simons Island so our time was limited but I was so glad we stopped. It was an interesting place to learn more about our nation's early history.
