Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

You get a good view from just about any seat in this small theatre in the Playford City Centre. We’ve been attending performances by local and touring groups for a long time. There’s plenty of parking space and the cafe and bar are open at show time. They’re also building a Fasta Pasta restaurant on to the theatre, but the shows are still going on with ‘Strictly Ballroom’ in July.

First time for a performance at the Shetley Theatre & found it to be a good performing area with good views & acoustics.Noticed that there may have been some confusion with seating.Cafeteria appears to be inviting, did'nt try due to snacks provided post show.

We saw the Adams Family last year. We could see very well and we were sitting at the back. It is easy to find when you drive there. A great place to see a show.

I lived at this place with my family for much of my childhood years. Grew up in the wings. Have performed and watched many shows in this venue, and we all retired to the Brin Whiting Lounge where we all sat around the piano and had sing-a-longs. We moved the tables and made a makeshift dance floor, had dancers with all the cast and guests and parties until the wee hours of the morning. Some got on and tap danced on tables!! The bar was iconic, the age of the place gave it that true theatrical, vaudeville, entertainment feel. So many stars had been in that room and done the same as us. I remember the huge windows and drapes, and just outside was the stage door where you'd wait to get a glimpse of the cast memebers in costume. I really miss that place.
Totally destroyed it!! Its heartbreaking to see all those memories gone. Atmosphere.....??? huh? what atmosphere... there is no longer an atmosphere! Its cold very very cold. Its uninviting, its shabby, its a shared space of open disappointment. Waste of money, space, time and resources.
Shame shame shame. :(

The Shedley is a 390 seat theatre located in the Elizabeth Civic Center.
It's a popular local live performance venue. If you're in the area, it's well worth checking what's on!
There are bar facilities available, so you can enjoy a pre-performance refreshment.
