Very enjoyable time. The square area is beautiful with many nice restaurants, the trains and the little stores. It is very nice to walk the square. I will definitely come back!

This is very cute place to visit-old time city square with plenty of shops. My daughter recommended it so gave it a try and very much enjoyed it.

Nice visit. Need to control the solicitors.
Aug. 2020 • Couples
We enjoyed this nice quieter place to visit just outside the busy city areas. The homeless and beggars were the only negative.

So what I like about the Marietta square is they are constantly holding events here. During the holidays they decorate the place and hold all sorts of events here. I recommend coming here during arts fest. And any of the beer festivals.

An afternoon out.

We love our local square. The shops are so quaint and several carrying local art and food stuff. The restaurants are all excellent depending on your palette. It’s a great afternoon out for friends and family.

Lunch with Friends
Mar. 2020 • Friends
Bring your own lunch and in good weather enjoy the actual square. Other option eat at one of the many restaurants it has to offer. There are many events that happen throughout the year so always look on the several local website's for things to do.

Eat, Drink, Shop, People Watch and Bring the Dog!
Feb. 2020
Marietta GA is my home. Beautiful period architecture, lovely tree lined streets, friendly staff in all the shops and restaurants, crazy fun to people watch because the two courthouses sit on the square LOL. LOVE the Farmers Market ... nice shaded streets in summer, hot cider in winter just a delightful place to visit for a taste of the "New South"

Nice Sunday afternoon

Dog friendly. Sunday walk today was dreary weather but the people watching was fun. The staff in stores that allowed dogs were great! Marietta Pizza - highly recommend!

Good food places to eat?

Taqueria has unique bites. Stay away from Hemmingways and Shillings unless you are desperate. The tea room has ok foid but run out of food which is rediculous.

Is there a parking lot or is it all street parking?

It depends on what time of day you are coming.
There is plenty of free 2-hr parking around the square. There is no time limit after 6 pm. After 5 pm and on the weekends, you can park in the parking decks for free. There are also a few pay lots around the square.
