Saw Rock City and Ruby Falls on our way through town, glad we stopped. The gardens were beautiful and peaceful, interesting rock formations, waterfall, swinging bridge. See seven states from Lover's Leap! The tableaus in Fairyland Caverns are a trip, definitely something from an earlier time, now made psychedelic with a fresh coat of glowing paint and backlights. It's strange... More

The natural beauty of Rock City is great and I wish they would have left it at that. But they have these weird little gnomes everywhere and this room full of fairy tale/nursery rhythm themed sculptures that I found kind of creepy looking. Looking past that, I would recommend seeing it.

We were pleasantly supprised with this area, after seeing lots of signs we spent a whole day exploring this wonderland. So many rock features both natural and made easy access by excellent engineering and palnning. Gardens that you would not see anywhere else. Lots of caves done out with cartoon figures and stories thrilled us as adults and families went... More

This is the best place to go with family. You can witness a seven state view from the very top and squeeze yourself through the caves and caverns. Go through the fairy tales caverns and enjoy the gnomes. It is very beautifully set out as you go through trails and enjoy with the whole family

I cannot say enough about the lovely evening we spent at the City of Lights. The Christmas displays were breathtaking. I had my older children visiting from New Jersey on college break and we took our two younger ones during Christmas week. We enjoyed every bit and the little ones were mesmerized. Very worth the price and very in line... More

Rock City itself is really nice! It has a lot of amazing features. Go visit the fudge shop and hopefully the cook, Brett, will be there! He was awesome and he actually cares about his job. I enjoyed my experience at the fudge shop because of him! He has a heart for Rock City and his passion for working there... More

My family has lived in Tennessee for three years now and always passed the signs for Rock City but never went until my mom was visiting us. I was so happy that we finally went. I had no idea what to expect, but I have to say it was an amazing experience. The views from the top are breathtaking. My... More

Rock City exceeded our expectations. So many things to see and outstanding photo spots (not just the extended view). Fun for the whole family. Allocate a couple hours, and bring your camera and selfie stick! We went in the afternoon, but an evening visit would be fun also (specially lit trees, etc.). Wear shoes that are good for walking on... More

We went at night to see the holiday light show. Hundreds of thousands of lights, in all sorts of shapes and sizes, made the visit spectacular. Walking the paths with a little one was a bit tough, with all the stairs and rises, but nothing too exhausting. The staff was pretty friendly, and parking was plentiful. We'll definitely visit again!
