Nice area to walk around in. None of the 4 kids, ages 6-12, were interested in touring homes. Perhaps in cooler weather it would be more of an attraction for them.

We enjoyed walking around reading the historical plaques. We found great food and a view for dinner at the wharf. Jekyll island club staff were very nice.

So beautiful and several cute shops. I love going to the Sweet Shop and Commissary for treats. We love riding our bikes to the district.

Super fun tram ride through the historical district. We learned a lot about the history of the island. We were able to go in and explore a couple of cottages. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny.

Yes. They have sidewalks that are great for getting around all the historic bldgs. Not sure if the carriage would be accessible, it was hard for us to get in those.

Yes. There are several places to rent bikes. Island is very bike travel friendly. Would bring a bike lock if you plan on tourism while biking.
