Interesting to see. Great photo opportunity. You will not spend a lot of time there. Parking is easy and then a short walk in sand to the beach.

Got up before dawn to be at Driftwood for the sunrise. Alas, I forgot bug spray, and we were driven mad by no-see-ums — to the point that we had to beat a very hasty retreat. We drove farther down the road and parked in...More

I love the beach. It is my happy place. I can sincerely say that I have never been to a beach like Driftwood, but I loved it.

What a beautiful place. If you enjoy the beauty of nature, you will love this place. It is free to park at the beach but it's $6/day to stay on Jekyll Island. It's a small price to pay for the views. We went in October...More

I love this beach! It is great for families. It’s a short walk from the road, so bring a wagon or pack somewhat lightly if your kids can’t carry a lot. The trees allow for great exploring, and the sand gently slopes into the water....More

I was awestruck at the beautiful beach littered with old up rooted trees. It is a photographers playground. I can't wait to return to get some morning and evening photographs.

We met our children here for a walk on the beach. Really enjoyed it. Took lots of pictures of driftwood, crabs and birds.

There are two areas for parking right by the pathways that lead to the beach. We went during Spring Break and had no issues finding a spot.
