Show was shown to start at 7:00. Pre bands (2) before he came on. Thomas Fountain was great. Second group was less than desirable. Long intermission after second band. Crowd became a little rowdy and out of control. Somewhere between 9-10 the main show came...More

We love this place. Go about twice per year. Nice and cool in the fall. More than enough vendors to suit me. I like the old school house, and the Mercantile store. And the exhibition Hall. All of the old antique music organs, which the...More

This was absolutely by far the worst Fair in 20 yrs. Will not return. The cost just to enter the gates when up to $12.00 a person this year. Once inside we quickly saw that the Arts and crafts was basically cut in half this...More

I seldom pay an entrance fee to attend a fall festival where I'm going to shop vendors wares. Yet, more and more festivals are charging $3-$5 and the money then goes to some kind of fundraiser:) The Georgia Mountain Festival charged $12! Maybe the money...More

Beautiful campground on Lake Chatuge. Beautiful sites on water and views of mountains. The girls in the office are very helpful! We came to watch leaves changing but they weren’t ready yet, but it was well worth it!

Great venue to watch a concert. Just saw the Kentucky Headhunters & Artimus Pyle and it was an excellent show. Not an overly large venue, so there are plenty of good seats. Sound is great. Bands typically stay after the show to sign autographs.

We visited and stayed at the Georgia Mnt. Fairgrounds Campground. My wife had sold crafts there at the fair for 4 days and did fairly well. We met some great crafters there and we had our grandson from NY with us as well. The carnival...More

On vacation here in Hiawassee - Nice event to visit. Wish they had more crafts and etc. It's all very rustic, so again a bit more excitement would help.

Was looking forward to the Georgia Mtn Fair and left disappointed. 12 fee is a lot for what is there. In the past the fair seemed livelier and more crowded. Some of the booths were occupied by salad spinning knife demo "as seen on TV"...More
