Drive to Helen intending to spend the day looking around. 1st impression was that it's a gotcha town... Tourist trap... Town area is about a mile long, No parking along Main Street, Everywhere else is $5 to park... Very crowded, Stores remind me of Cherokee--...More

There is so much to do in and around Helen the whole family will be easily entertained. You can go tubing on the Chattahoochie, play miniature golf eat at wide variety of restaurants and shop 'til you drop !

tough question , I live 70 mins from Helen and the smoke is pretty bad here
