We stay at Igls Resort when we go. It is timeshares but also available for public rentals. Very comfortable for two couples with a nice golf course available. We have hiked to several waterfalls in the area and around the lake at Unicoi state park....More

This experience combined two things that I adore: hiking and wine! I had such a lovely time, a day that I will remember for years to come, and hope that others will enjoy as much as I did.

The trail is clearly marked and very scenic. There's a great hike from Unicoi to Helen. Then you can have lunch in Helen. It is a moderate hike and there are some inclines along the way.
