This is a mederate well worn walking trail with a lot of roots and a fair amount of obstacles. In general, it is pretty sumple and will take about 90 min up and 75 mon back if you dont have slow walkers, small kids, or...More

Our hike to Raven Cliff Falls would not qualify as a Wilderness experience (way too many people on a wide, well-trodden path) but it was beautifully scenic nonetheless. Would only recommend for those who wish to be quiet and enjoy nature. Don’t bring a dog....More

This was a nice fairly level walk next to flowing water for the most part. It is a 2 and a 1/2 mile walk, for a total of 5 miles in and out. Easy to access with plenty of parking. Nice and shady and very...More

It’s not an easy walk to the falls; the terrain is sloping and the path is riddled with treeroots. Our walk was cut short by torrential rain so unfortunatley we didn’t get to see the falls.

Due to severe rain fall we had to turn around after a mile or so. The path with tree trunks got slippery and I did not want to end up in hospital. The trail is small and intense. You do not just do this. At...More

Really enjoyable, easy to moderate hike up a stream as it climbs a ridge. The falls are nice, but the walk along the creek is lovely and worth the trip by itself. Very woodsy feeling, with secondary growth forest, well marked / maintained trail, and...More

Great place to visit, walking require but worth the effort. There is a $3.00 per person fee to entry the park, a gift shop before reaching the falls and many places to take pictures.

This was an amazing trail that followed a beautiful creek with several small falls and huge Hemlocks, Mountain Laurels, and rhododendron. The Falls at the end appeared to come right out of the Boulders! It's a bit over five miles out and back and isn't...More

This is a great place for a hike among beautiful scenery. There are several waterfalls along the way, making for great photo opportunities! I recommend going in the morning to avoid large crowds. We got there around 10:00am with only a few cars in the...More

Don’t think it will be a problem as long as your sons in a carrier. Some parts are narrow and the trail is steep at times.

We camped at Unicoi State Park about 10 min away. I did not see people camping at Raven Cliff.
