Since 1908, Lane Southern Orchards has planted, grown and harvested the best tasting peaches and pecans in Georgia. The farm includes 3,000 acres of peach orchards, 3,000 acres of pecan groves, and a 6 acre strawberry patch.

Traveling through Middle Georgia? We're just five minutes off I-75 at Exit 142. Visit our roadside market, cafe and orchards. Try homemade favorites like peach ice cream and home-style cooking. Then grab a rocking chair for a relaxing break served up with genuine southern hospitality.

Visited here in January 2017 with family. Had a great time shopping for pecan and peach oriented items. Many century old enlarged pictures on the walls recalling days of old in the orchard industry. .. with barefoot workers, when all men wore hats, and suspenders were in fashion.

There is something for everyone here any time of year. From their famous peaches in the summer and strawberries in the spring to the delicious Indian River citrus in the winter, something is always in season. They also have a great selection of pecans, jams, ciders, and more that all will enjoy. While you are here, stop by the Peachtree... More

We go often and have picked strawberries and walked through the corn maze. The food is ok but the peach cobbler, icecreams and even the peach lemonade are amazing! We still haven't gone through the peach packing tour but plan on doing it soon. Don't miss this place!

This is one of the best businesses and tourist stops south of Atlanta and definitely a pride of Peach County! It is close to I-75, and the restaurant, gift shop and playground give everyone something to9 enjoy!

Lane's is listed as both a restaurant and an attraction. It is a working orchard but I don't think they offer tours of the packing operation. You can certainly have a full meal in the restaurant, but it is more than that - you can buy various Georgia farm products - nuts, fruits, wines, trinkets, etc. They even have a... More

Saw the sign for peach ice cream and had to stop. We were greeted as walked into a spacious retail store full of peach and pecan foods galore. Lane's has a cafe to order sandwiches, lunches and more. The soft peach ice cream tasted like homemade. Unique gifts throughout. Wish we had more time. Definitely stop!!

We stop by Lane's several times each year. We like the jellies, pecans, gift selections. The restaurant has homemade cobblers topped with ice cream.

Having to travel from the Savannah area to Columbus on numerous occasions, I finally had the ability to stop when they were open. I specifically needed to pick up some stocking stuffers for Christmas. Excellent assortment of fruit based jams, jellies, and salsas. I found it to be a bit pricey, however, the quality is excellent. Looking forward to stopping... More

Between Perry and Fort Valley, a good place to get out, stretch your legs and eat some good home cooking. Peach ice cream is very good, staff is very friendly.
