The National University runs a Botanical Garden in the San Luis area (eastern shore) that should be on everyone's list of places to visit on the island. Climb the mirador (viewing tower) and find spectacular views in all directions. Learn about native tropical plants and...More

We liked it very much. If you want to know a bit of scientific data and educational stuff together with nice scenic views then it is the ideal place to go. A very well mantained tourist and educational atraction.

A beautiful setting, and you can stay cool walking in the shade of the trees. Very educational about the island, and if you go up to the top of building, you get a great view over most of the island. A lovely place.
