Too bad the Laguna is not so well protected!

The Laguna could be a lot more attractive were is better taken care of! The road to get there is nice and clean but the surroundings of the laguna are poorly maintained. There are... read more

I enjoyed the Pond and the non-touristic environment with all the relaxed Reaggae people the the pond! Good vibes.

Ok location. Interesting to visit. We paid 5000 our friends 15000. The lady was pleasant and informative. But needs to be cleaned up and run properly.

The Laguna could be a lot more attractive were is better taken care of! The road to get there is nice and clean but the surroundings of the laguna are poorly maintained. There are no signs giving information of the species found there, no benches to sit on the trail around it from where to observe the birds, turtles or... More

We visited La Laguna thinking it was an island attraction. Some guys along the road tried to get us to pay $5,000 pesos to pass though, so we took the long way around, only to be charged $5,000 pesos when we got the actual park area. There is nothing beautiful about this spot, only a muddy pond filled with gators.

If you want to see caymans in the nature, this is the place. We went with golf car from the other side of the island, where is west wiew and morgan's cave. The place isn't marked, so we used google maps and a little bit of our orientation. There leads very tiny street of open houses, so you may feel... More

Worth a brief visit to see some crocodiles and other animals. What is not clear whether the Col Pesos 5,000 fee per visitor is actually legally required or a typical San Andres scam (we paid it). But my advice would be to take the short walk without the guide, as no explanation is needed for what you see...

Natives will welcome you and tell you stories about the pond. They are extremely nice people and you can see a lot of animals there.

if you love nature you can go to check the crocodriles there, is safe and natural, is not a big place, nothing special, just a short visit to check the place and leave, you have to pay not much, is cheap

this attraction had to be the worse expenditure of our time & money of the entire San Andres experience. Basically the local "guide" walks you around a muddy pond & points out the very small crocs in it. When asked in advance for clarification on his fee for the guided tour and that the amount quoted was the TOTAL that... More

Had to visit the Laguna Big Pond while on San Andres and check out nature with all its birds, alligators and other things. While there we experienced a tropical rain shower and which was quite local.
