Best place around to get grass fed meats, local dairy and cheeses. And the people could not be nicer! We go a couple times a year and stock the freezer! And there are animals on site to thrill the kids or grandkids!

Have the kids and want to go to a vineyard. Well we did and this place is off the path but between two vineyards. The homemade ice cream is great. Goat cheese is better and I can’t say enough of the jams. But the kids...More

We love coming to visit the farm store to see and pet the animals (goats are friendly and willing to be pet), having some delicious ice cream/gelato, all the specialty foods made by local/small family farms such as jellies, sauces, salsa, cheeses and more! The...More

We stopped to see the animals. My kids enjoyed seeing the bunnies running free on the property. The goats were adorable. The calfs and cows, sheeps and baby bunnies were so sweet to see up close. It’s a very small farm and the day we...More

We were renting a cabin for the week and found this place that sells meat. We bought the best fresh steaks for the grill! The staff was very friendly and helpful. My 6 year old son enjoyed seeing the animals. They have cows, calves, bunnies,...More

One of our favorite places to take friends...great meats, butter and jams, as well as a chance to chat with the goats and bunnies.

The Mountain Valley Farm is not just a wonderful place to bring the kids to pet the goats, chase rabbits and see the other animals, the meat, beef, pork, sausage, bacon along with the butter, jams, etc. etc. make it a worthy trip!

This was our second stop by this neat farm. Last time there were day old baby goats, this time we saw a calf and of course grown goats and rabbits running around. It is always fun to get to pet animals that are so rarely...More

We get into the store every time we're in Ellijay, about every 4-6 weeks. We look forward to going every trip, it's like we're family. We haven't bought anything there that we haven't bragged about. My husband's favorite is the bone-in 1" pork chops cooked...More
