We know it as the Arts Plaza. Have had some of the best times at the Summer concerts, Plays and art activities. I live in Milledgeville but find myself going back to the Plaza for the best in community activities.

You will be enchanted when you step in the old schoolroom room. Also, when you visit our town it’s must to stop here first. Eatonton/Putnam County is a historical area.

The visitor information center has many brochures from businesses, churches and other organizations. They can give you information on walking tours of the historic homes district and the downtown area. They also have a driving tour of the famous writers from the area. And to...More

No fees, easy to find. Great staff makes you feel like family,very helpful. Ask about the painted Ber Rabbits there are about 40 all over town, painted by lone artist. See how many you can find. Great activity for you children or group. The first...More

If you want a good glimpse into early small town and rural Georgia give this pace a visit. It is in a 60 era school building that will bring back memories!

A very nice museum depicting the history of Eatonton and Putnam County. The repurposing of the "old school" is very well done.

This is a nice visitor center that is attached to the Plaza Arts Center. You can get brochures of the local attraction plus visit the museum with vintage pharmacy soda shop.
