Listed as a very challenging trail. That's an understatement. If you are a day tripper in moderate condition - go for it, but take your time. Beautiful vistas. Don't allow the length of the trail deceive you. Carry water. Watch the weather. Wear good shoes....More

You will use your arms as well as your legs on this trail. This is not a running trail. As always in the Southeast, watch out for poison ivy.

The view from the top of this trail is worth every step. It is not an easy trail. I am in above average shape and it is a challenge every time I go.

The trail is a very strenous short trail maybe a mile up but very steep as it ascends! great views and cool pplace for a sunset hike!!
