While visiting Dalton, I spent an early morning relaxing at the Dalton depot having coffee and watching trains. There is quite a lot of train traffic so waits are short.

The tourist information center is located here along with a quasi-museum of the history of Dalton. The staff are friendly and helpful. You can also relax outside on benches while watching the trains go by on the tracks.

Service was slow and food was a little high for quantity. Waiter was not very friendly and took some time to even place our drink order. Food itself was good.
