The Werkheiser family purchased the property recently and renamed it Kaya Vineyards and Winery, and have made it a "not to miss" winery to visit for an overall experience (refer to my review under Kaya Vineyards and Winery).

I was so disappointed that this winery closed! It was my favorite wine out of the Dahlonega wineries, so such a shame they didn't make it and believe they were one of the first. We did go to walk in as I didn't realize they...More

Enjoyed a late Sun lunch, huge sandwiches! Service was "on your own" by ordering at 1 busy bar making it slow. Unique mountain music with live entertainment. Beautiful views overlooking mountains. Tasted wines but no tour or vineyard info provided. Food was good.

We've been to two events here and both times staff was snotty. The wedding was beautiful BUT the staff treated guests in a condescending manner. Wine was just ok. I prefer a sweet wine and no after taste and it disappointed on both of those.

This is a small winery, so they don't have a lot of wines to choose from. You pick 8 wines (for $10) out of 10 for a tasting. Also, the initial pourer that we got gave us very small amounts of wine to taste. The...More

The wine was quite nice, I was a bit skeptical because we lived in San Francisco & spent a lot of time in the wine country and wasn't sure about Georgia wines; but they had some lovely choices. The wedding was beautiful & where they...More

Besides loving their wines, we enjoyed an afternoon sitting amongst the vines and listening to the live music. Very relaxing.

We went on a beautiful afternoon to enjoy the music and scenery. When we tried to order a bottle of wine we were told that when they have music you can only have wine by the glass. When I asked the reason he said because...More
