Very nice park for the kids and adults. we say the name of the park on a map and just drove to it. Nice trails, A little interesting history about the trail to the tower and plenty of activities for the whole family.

No food on the mountain. Try some of the local, nonchain places in town.

From what I understand, you can't reserve specific spots. I would suggest trying to camp near the lake.
