This was a unique and fun experience for us. We traveled here with 2 boys, 10 and 15 years old. We've visited the Smoky mountains quite a few times but have never found anywhere to venture into the woods via off-road. Here we found a...More

We were worried like others about the three mile gravel road and rain all week. We had no issues and only two other vehicles parked there. Worth it and fun exploring and hiking all around the bridge. Don’t let the gravel road determine if you...More

I was skeptical after reading some reviews, nervous we wouldn't make it up the access road in our Ford Flex, however we gave it a shot and I am so very glad we did! The drive was interesting, not impassible at all so don't let...More

The bridge was a nice easy walk from the parking area. It was well structured and I felt totally safe. The view was incredible and the water was clear.

We took the approximately three mile gravel road to this area. It was one way and we met several cars that required backing up and pulling off to the side. When we got to the end of the road, there was space for several cars...More

Our family enjoyed the walk to the bridge. The trail is pretty wide and easy for little kids (4yr old). The bridge is really neat and takes just a minute to get used to the feel of it swaying. The winding dirt road to get...More

Great spot to hike and play in water! Two ways to approach the bridge. Bridge itself is very sturdy but still just scary enough to get your heart rate up!

Unless you have hours of spare time to spend 5 minutes at the bridge , I'd pass on this venture . If you have a car that is low I would not recommend trying .
