Easy, flat hike to a suspension bridge over the Toccoa. This would be fun for kids. The drive in was a solid 3 mile dirt road that was in very good shape considering all the rain that the area has had recently. Some sections were...More

The Toccoa River Swinging Bridge was our destination for the day, so the long (3 or 4 miles, I'm guessing) dirt road that dead ends in a "parking lot" was never going to be a deterrent. We were in a minivan and had no trouble,...More

It's challenging to drive to but the views and the solitude are well worth the trip! One of our favorite hikes!

Off the beaten path but worth it when you get there. Parking is tricky not a bad walk to the bridge. We all took a swim when we got there,

The road leading to the bridge was very rocky and bumpy, took about 20 minutes to get to the parking area for the bridge. Just a slight hike down to the bridge, scenery was awesome.

We hiked here with our kids. We took the long way and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bridge is really scenic and interesting. Avoid the crowds and go early.
