These falls are nice. My wife and I took the short trip out of Blue Ridge, Ga on the last day of our trip. The ride to the parking area was not terrible. It's a dirt road ride for a couple miles but beautiful scenery along the creek. The parking area is small but manageable. The hike to the falls... More

We went for Mother's Day weekend and it was a perfect little hike with beautiful falls! We have three children aged 4, 6 and 7 and they were able to do the entire trail without issues. There is beautiful little rapids to the left of you leading up to the waterfall. The whole area is shaded and beautiful! The waterfall... More

The falls are pretty cool and the hike out there is not too bad. However, the road to get there is horrible.

One of my favorite hikes in North Georgia. The falls are wonderful and the hike is easy that all can do it. We have done this hike many times and each time it is rewarding.

My husband and I get teased because we post many pix of the North Georgia Waterfalls we've visited over the past several years. We have usually stayed in Hiawassee when we visit, but this trip we stayed in Blue Ridge which made visiting this "new" falls very convenient. The hike is easy and very pretty; however, I strongly advise against... More

You don't have to hike the the Appalachian Trail to enjoy these falls. You can get to the foot of the 2 mile hike by car. These falls are definitely a hidden gem. The hike is easy and beautiful and appropriate for all ages. Remember -- Leave No Trace, Stay Safe and Return Home!

We traveled about an hour from Blue Ridge mainly because it wasn't easy to find, directions are horrible, but the search was all part of the fun. The hike to the waterfall was more than we expected but just wear good shoes and warm clothes, very nice. The falls were incredible. Beautiful and a real waterfall we don't often get... More

Quick mile hike to Beautiful falls. You will walk creek side for 1/2 of the hike, then proceed a gentle climb to the falls. You will encounter three trails at one point: The Appalachian Trail, The Benton McCaye and Long Branch Falls Trail. You may even encounter "through hikers" on this hike. Enjoy!

easy enough hike for the ambulatory, wouldn't try it if you have bad knees, or need assistance given the uphill and rocks. Went with younger son and the dog, glad we did.

It has been about 10 years since I have been here, It is about mile 4 of the Applaciation Trail. It is just before the Benton MacKaye cuts off. It is 1 mile from the 3 forks parking area. Not an easy drive on the forest service roads.
