Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing collection of 40,000 items of almost anything you can imagine from 1902 - a real treat and trip back in time to some of the toys we had. Most of this is boys toys. The owner is also a prolific model builder and restorer of many f the items, as well as full scale, such as landrovers and Jeeps.

It's a $5 entry and worth every cent. David, the owner, has been collecting toys for 50+ years and it's impressive. Amazing collection of matchbox cars, board games, mechano, and other bits and pieces. The most impressive part of his collection is the Land Rover Defender both real size (out the front) and over a 1000 matchbox size, remote control and Lego..... So cool.

Definitely a must stop! This man is passionate about toys and it will break your heart how many toys we had that we played in the sand with, that are now so precious!! Great insight for young kids and a great nostalgic trip down memory lane for us slightly older ones... well worth the look!

Ignore the Land Rovers this is not a car museum. Inside is a collection of toy cars , Matchbox, Corgi, Meccano kits all sorts of model airplanes and definitely worth a visit.

We went through this town on our way to Quorn and stopped for a wee while hoping to look at the museum... sadly it was not open that day. However, it is still fascinating to stop and have a look at the cars and other items on show in the yards here... you can see that he has some interesting toys inside because you can see old cars and train carriages through the window.

The business dog was friendly and acknowledged we were there. :)
