A must see!! Nature at its best
A must do! Only a 90 minute drive from Senggigi, both of these waterfalls are spectacular. Entrance is 20k per person. I recommend getting a guide (ours was called So-one and was excellent. Charged 140k including entrance for 2 people) as the second waterfall is difficult to find. You can wear flip flops but be mindful that you will have to walk across the river when going to the second waterfall. If you have weak knees you may struggle. There are also some narrow stairs you have to climb. A good sense of balance and a basic level of fitness is required. The walk from the first waterfall to the second is about 25 mins.

Early hike = waterfalls all to yourself
I started my run at 6.15am, and got to the waterfall 'entrance' before they 'open'. I still find charging a fee to see a waterfall a little rich... but it's not that I mind paying a small sum to see it, but I had the peace and solitude of the falls to myself. Tiu Kelep falls are further in and would require you to step across the river a few times. Beautiful tropical waterfalls.

    Amazing waterfalls
Definitely worth visiting these 2 majestic waterfalls. Sendang Gile is very easy to get to, you can even take a motorbike there. Tiu Kelep is harder as there are river crossings and some steep steps. We went with a guide which charged us 150k per pax which is quite pricey. Most other tourist went without a guide.

    Beautiful walk
A wonderful outing. Our guide took us along the relatively flat approach to the first fall, which is alongside the canals built to supply water for irrigation to the area. Which are fascinating in themselves. He told us the alternative was 400 steps to and from the other entrance; we didn’t go there but I can’t see it could be better. The falls themselves are stunning. You need to cross the river 4 times to get to the second fall, which makes choice of footwear interesting. You need shoes you can walk 5k in comfortably, and which allow you to do a small amount of scrambling over rocks, but which you don’t mind getting wet. We chose old walking sandals which worked ok. You also have to hire a local guide. IR100,000 in cash is not expensive.

Powerful waterfalls very worth a stop when visiting Lombok. Make sure to bring flip flops or beach shoes if you intend to hike to the second - and most beautiful waterfall as you will have to cross the river up to 3 times and water reaches the ankle or calf.

Waterfalls are absolutely breathtaking. A must do in Lombok for sure. Make sure to bring slippers as you will be required to cross the river to get to the second waterfall. At the second waterfall you will definitely get wet.

Senaru is a village that has the most beautiful waterfall we've ever seen so far, very suitable for visiting those who can't afford to climb Mount Rinjani.
