Great place and quiet, amazing view. The bus takes you all around the island and also stops at Faros beach.

We happened to get on the wrong bus and spoke to some people on their way to Faros who said it had two beaches and chapel to visit. We arrived late in the day and had a lovey sum n the bay, snorkelled and I fund some ld poetry sheds that I donated to a beachside resident. The local restaurant... More

It's one of the most relaxing, calm beaches on Samos. Every year I come back and especially like the restaurant at this beach. Amazing friendly service.

Very nice place for a cool swim. Go right - past the Church - to the far side. It is a small beach but you may be able to find some shade. The water and setting are wonderful.

Really nice place with multiple beaches (3). Smooth golden sand, clear waters. There is a problem finding shade though and you must be prepared for there are only a few trees for all. Connected with bus, it has some restaurants and it is connected also via trail with Hrysopigi.

We loved this small beach with several small tavernas. The swimming was delightful and there were walks to Chrisopigi and Foulograndos.

We travelled to Faros by bus from Platis Yialos. Spent a pleasant couple of hours on the beach, before walking back to our hotel. Had a drink at the local bar, very nice.

There are actually two beaches, one in the little village and port itself and another over the little hill. Both are sandy and OK but nothing stunning. The beach over the little hill is not very large. It is popular as it is in a very sheltered bay and there is quite a bit of shade from the tamarisk trees.... More

Glyfos beach in Faros is a beach that you want to stay at all day, and then want to go back to again and again. The water is so clear you can watch the little fish approaching to nibble at your toes. It is a sandy beach with no rocks to navigate on the shore or in the water, and... More
