The ownership of Blue Grotto has certainly put a lot of money into make the facilities here head and shoulders above those at any of the other local springs. As far as the diving goes, the air bell is certainly interesting, and the cavern has a nice 90-100 ft depth which allows for some deep diving practice. Above deep inner... More

Very well maintained place. Excellent facilities to get all scuba gear out, setup, and walk to the deck for final inspection before getting in. Several platforms at different depths and guide lines to get deeper. If you're lucky you'll see Virgil, the resident and very curious soft shell turtle. Awesome experience for a cave diving in a very secure environment.

Had a nice morning here and this would be my recommendation, is to go here early to miss the groups as the viz starts to drop! The equipment is adequate and well maintained. The dive itself is good and offers a variety of challenges as it gets very dark toward the back and you can get to 29m! Not a... More

We did part of our Scuba Certification dive here. Easy to get to, easy large spaces to setup before getting wet. The staff was friendly and helpful as well.

We stayed at their campground for 4 nights whilst diving. They have limited camping facilities (only 4 or 5 spots), so reservations is a must particularly if travelling in a group. The sites are located in between two cabins and are narrow and not level which made it difficult for us to level the motorhome. Having said this, rates are... More

We took our young children (10 and 11) to the Blue Grotto Dive Resort for their check-out dives. Kevin, the instructor and gentleman who runs the Stellina Dive School on site, couldn't have been a better instructor for our children to complete their dive certification. He was kind but thorough and extremely personable. It was like visiting an old friend.... More

This was our second trip to the renovated Blue Grotto and it is still wonderful. The facilities are still in great shape, everyone is very friendly and helpful, and the spring is still beautiful. I love everything about Blue Grotto and the next time we are in Florida, we will make this a destination again.

This is our second visit under the new owners. It has been improved and maintained and is just the nicest place of it's kind. The room we rented for two nights may have been the same one we had 2 years ago. It still looks new. The whole place is extremely clean, the rental gear is in good condition, the... More

Spent the day diving here, the scuba rental staff were friendly especially the young guy working the rental shack with the golf cart. Nice bathroom setup. We enjoyed the dives and exploring the dive bell. Loved the local mascot turtle Virgil!

Did Saturday scuba cert course here w my 2 teenagers and instructor. Half time is spent in pool other half is spent in grotto. Much care was given to the training. Unfortunately only one of my kids was able to complete the course because the youngest was coming off of a cold and having a difficult time clearing his ears
