On the far-eastern coast, you'll find coral reefs in water so shallow that you can actually walk out to them. Along the beach are the Long Bay Hotel and the rambling Allegro Resort Pineapple Beach.

Went for the day during a cruise. Cannot begin to say how beautiful the beach is. The sand is crushed shells, the water such a beautiful turquoise. Some waves, but not bad. Has a cute bar/food place and restrooms. You have to pay for chairs...More

The water is very nice. It wasn't an empty beach, but not crowded either. There's a place to eat there and about 15 minutes to drive from Stingray City.

A good balance of not too busy a beach with some facilities. The strong easterly wind blew our umbrella out but there are sun beds and umbrellas to hire which look quite sturdy. The box like development of the nearby Pineapple resort is a bit...More

Came here after visiting Devil's Bridge, which is a short stroll away. This is a great beach with much to see and do, particularly if you are keen on water sports. Well worth a visit!

Nice beach. Popular with a lot of people on weekends day. Good for families with children since there is no waves.
