We have visited may beaches on our trips around the islands and the reviews that this could be one of the top ten in the Caribbean could not be ignored. However.. from our villa in Jolly Habor it was an solid hour travel and I'm not sure it would qualify as a top ten. Not that the drive was bad... More

My wife and I have been trying to spot the best snorkelling beaches on Antigua. Half Moon Bay is fairly good at both sides of the bay. Most striking is however the beauty of the place. White and pink sand that stretches in a crescent for about one kilometer. Even better: almost no people. We spent a day at the... More

ok, visited this beach many times and love it, this visit however we were invaded by some rude americans that deemed it acceptable to invade our space and not care, they had the whole beach but decided they wanted out little bit of beach, nasty ignorant idiots that were lucky i kept my cool given they put their towels down... We were staying in Falmouth harbour and this was our go to beach. Lovely sand and crystal clear water. Plenty of room for everyone and you can choose between breezy side or quiet side(which most people choose) on the left as you enter. There are two places to eat and drink, with the beach bum bar right on the beach... More

Went with my son for several hours. Gorgeous view, lovely swimming and a bit of snorkelling. There are some nice waves crashing on the beach which is great to play in as well. Little resto bar for lunch. All in all a great spot. I would recommend Galleon Beach as well for snorkelling.

An absolutely awesome secluded beach but bring EVERYTHING! There is nothing there with exception of 2 dive bars that are a bit pricey. Bring snacks, towels, water, bathing suits, sunscreen, etc. A must see! Go to the left side if you want calm waters. The right side is open to the rough surf. Enjoy. I do not recommend small children.... More

This was a nice beach to spend several hours. It is a little out of the way, but I wanted to be away from the main tourist crowd. Wish I had brought my eno as there were several places to hang in some shade between the sea grapes. Water is calmer further down the beach to the left. There are... More

This beach on the Atlantic Ocean side of the Island was very beautiful with a narrow entry to the bay and crystal clear waters to snorkel in. There were probably only 10 other people on the whole 3/4 mile long beach. We did not partake but there is a mud bath ritual where the locals were scrubbing themselves with mud... More

We had lunch in Falmouth and a local suggested we stop at Half-Moon bay on the way home. Pretty beach with quite a bit of plant debris. Except for an occasional tree, there is practically no cover from the sun. You definitely need sunscreen here if you are spending more than 15 minutes. Intense. There is a refreshment area with...
