Been to this beach more than once it is quite remote, you need a car to come here. There is a small and popular cafe just by the beach with great fish. Reasonable prices And service. The beach is great to walk on although no...More

Clearly a beautiful beach, but choked by seaweed. Slight smell of rotting vegetation everywhere. Two lonely bars with no customers. There appeared to be some seaweed free sand at the far side of the beach, but it didn't seem worth the walk in the very...More

I would highly recommend a visit to Half Moon Bay. This is not like one of the West Coast beaches. The water is rougher because it is on the Atlantic side so great for body surfing. Maybe take a picnic and get some shade under...More

We visited while on a tour during our recent holiday. You would require transport to get here. It is a lovely crescent shaped beach but is on the Atlantic Ocean side of the island so the sea was quite rough, crashing on to the shore....More

All of the beaches in Antigua are beautiful, but we trekked to Half Moon because we expected something truly extraordinary. The "pink" sand is barely pink and most of the beach was choked with seaweed when we were there. I climbed up the rocks on...More

When we visited, there was a lot of weed piling up on the beach. It was fine round on the left hand / calmer side, and that's where we sat. That part of the bay is fantastic - super soft sand. But the body boarding...More

This beach is in the south east corner of Antigua and a bit of a windey route in from English Harbour. However, first the view when you come over the hill and see it.. Wow! as it was July and a non-cruise ship day there...More

The beach was so quiet and calm. We had a great time at half moon bay. Of course you need a car to get there. Great restaurant open even in low season, with good food for lunch. Would recommend!

The wife and I travelled as part of a tour. The beach is beautiful and off the beaten passed. The sand is great to walk on without any obstructions in your way. Walking across to the end where the water meets the rock is an...More

We hired a car and travelled across from Cocos Hotel. The beach itself is as beautiful as all the beaches in Antigua and the water is as turquoise and the sea is as warm. There were not many people along the beach, but those we...More

There is Smiling Harrys along the road, but we went to the Beach Bum Shack overlooking the bay a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely excellent. Can recommend the grilled chicken strips.
