What a fantastic place!!! If you plan to go, you will need to find their new address on their website as they have moved to Hudson, Florida. A visit there is well worth the search if you love big birds as much as we do. We called for an appointment to visit and were informed that they request a $15.... More

This is one of the best afternoons I've ever spent. I am still smiling as I mentally play back one of the parrots singing "old McDonald had a farm..." A truly awesome experience. I also learned a lot… Like there are millions of parrots produced by the pet trade each year, so the population of captive birds continues to grow.... More

Most people never get a chance to be up close and personal with exotic parrots from all over the world. Now you can! Florida Exotic Bird Sanctuary has relocated to Hudson Florida on 5 fabulous acres. The old property was low lying and flooded quite often from heavy rains. Now Patricia Norton is working quite hard to relocate all the... More

FEBS is busy relocating to 8933 Casper Avenue, Hudson, Fla., 34667. This is a magical place for exotic birds and those who have a passion for them. They have been awarded a great non-profit since 2012. Call ahead to make reservations for a tour.

Absolutely gorgeous exotic birds that are rescued from abusive or challenging circumstance but never adopted out or bred with other birds. These birds come here for life! Very kind and accommodating staff. FREE but donations accepted. Good stuff.

The Florida Exotic Bird Sanctuary (FEBS) is a non-profit organization that takes in pet parrots and other exotic birds that their owners can no longer care for. They do not breed, sell, trade, or offer for adoption the birds in their care. The birds are kept in large outdoor aviaries where they can interact with other, compatible birds. Truly a... More

Just a few miles out of Wesley Chapel, Florida, this non-profit true bird sanctuary for parrots, macaws, and cockatoos offers one a chance to visit literally a hundred or so birds that have been abandoned by their previous owners and cared for here for life. As these birds live up to 100 years many of them will be here long... More

We went up to Wesley Chapel for a tour around town, saw the Exotic Bird Sanctuary was in range and stopped over. A very kind worker let us in unplanned for a quick visit. We were lucky enough to get into the large Macaw cage and had the big birds land on our shoulder for a treat. What dedication to... More

Great place....they have every type of tropical bird here in large aviaries and other sized cages. It truly is an amazing place and they live off of volunteers and donations. The staff and volunteers are dedicated and Patricia works very hard to keep all the birds comfortable and feed and that can't be an easy task. It is well worth... More
