Wonderful, shaded ride that passes local folk art painted on the fences.

The trail parallels Markham Woods road for quite a stretch, and from about 100 yards south of the... read more

We have been running frequently on this trail from the Markam Rd trailhead. Great mostly shaded, nice wide trail for running, casual biking and walking. We tried biking it because it connects to other trails and goes quite far, but it is not great for...More

The trail parallels Markham Woods road for quite a stretch, and from about 100 yards south of the crossing at EE Williamson for over a half mile north the are numerous paintings on the fences by a local artist. It is shaded most of the...More

I haven't walked the entire length of this trail, mostly I stay between the areas of 436 where San Sebastian starts and 434 close to I-4. It's just busy enough you're not alone and everyone is so friendly. There is enough tree cover for hot...More

Wonderful trail, wide and well maintained. Plenty of shade along the way. Take money with you in case you decide to stop at one of the cafés you pass. Please remember if you have to stop on the bike path, move over to the side....More

Mountain biked the Markham Woods trail today. Awesome! The lokosee loop is rated easy but is difficult due to the single track with constant cornering and trees that are very close to the trail. Loads of fun! There was a section of the 2017 expansion...More

Love this trail! Wasn't sure what I'd find here but glad I went. The trail is long enough for a decent workout and the scenery is nice. And the artwork along the way is so cool! There are places to eat along the way and...More

Went with my husband for what he calls a putz around bike ride, meaning about 8-10 mph. However, I was able to get up to 16-18 mph no problem and still keep him happy by biking side by side when possible. The path is shaded...More
