Stopped by on this past Saturday. It's nice they close the street off for this. Filled up quickly with shoppers. Hope it gets bigger. You're their in the downtown shopping area, so we made a morning of it. Got some produce, a plant, then shopped...More

We are new to the area, our town North Port has a good, small Farmers Market near our house, but it’s only open October thru April...so one of the vendors suggested I try the Venice Farmers Market. This Market is a pretty decent size and...More

We vacationed in Venice and enjoyed Saturday mornings at the Farmer's Market. Great food and crafts. Certainly not the best prices and a big crowded, but was just nice to be outside shopping.

While visiting friends we checked out the market; immediately I came across a great pepper and oil vendor and bought some items for my meals. I found a terrific gluten-free bake shop and got a delicious cinnamon roll I had the next morning. I found...More

Lots of vendors. Typical inflated prices geared toward tourism. Since I buy organic I'm not interested in much of the produce & skeptical of asking $1.50 on up for a Florida grapefruit I can get for. 89 at the grocery store. We noticed this year...More

Nice variety of local wares, from already made "meals" to fresh produce, to local artisans. We had all 6 varieties of empanadas for lunch and brought home amazing raspberries, oranges and strawberries. Fun things to look at-very pleasant stroll.

We went to the weekly market (Saturdays) twice while visiting Venice. On both occasions the vendors seemed to be the same. It's easy to spend money here as everything looks so good. My only negative is about the bread vendor. Why wear gloves and handle...More

Can't believe the variety and quality. Whatever fruit or vegetable you're looking for they probably have it. We will definitely come here over and over.

This farmers market is smaller than its Sarasota neighbor but sits across from the huge parking lot at Centennial Park, making it a lot easier to get to. We went on a colder morning at 10 am and found a parking space no problem. I’m...More

My understanding is that the Venice market is year round, but shorter hours in the summer. Hope that helps.
