It seems the only way to get sharks teeth is to sift the shells. Too much work. Ponte Vedra beach outside Jacksonville produces better just walkin the beach

Had read about how you can find shark teeth here so decided to go and try our hand at it. Well we found over 60. We were there around 3 hours and had the best time hunting for the teeth. Can't wait till the grandkids come to take them to dig. The beach is clean it wasn't crowded and we... More

We enjoyed our time on the beach . One of the gals from the gift store at sharky 's on the pier told us about a great spot to go and find sharks teeth . We had success and we're thrilled . It's a fun activity . The beach wasn't busy very relaxing looking for shells as well . Lots... More

Nice natural beach with no development on it. In the past has been a great place to find sharks teeth. A lot of beach errosion this visit. Steeper sand to get by the water. Fun to see a lot of artist painting the day we were there.

It may not be the biggest beach in SW Florida, but for me it's my favourite. It is part of a park complex that has direct access to the Venetian Waterway Trail. Take the kids and let them search/dig for sharks teeth virtually guaranteed to find some.

We met up with another family at Caspersen beach to search for sharks teeth. The beach has a decent amount of free parking, nice bathroom and foot washing facilities, and is not too busy. We stayed near the rocky part of the beach and searched in the sand for sharks teeth. We found a couple dozen, with 8 people searching.... More

Very natural rocky beach with loads of shark teeth and shells. Within 5 min we had found various types of fossilized shark teeth. Best to have a shovel and sifter. Kids and adults enjoyed the hunt!

Such a beautiful, quiet beach with plenty of parking, restrooms and a little boardwalk through the middle. There were quite a few folks looking for shells/sharks teeth as this is a great place for it, apparently - but I went to swim and the water was a perfect (for a northerner) 72 degrees in November! Can wait to bring my... More

If you like beaches and you like fossils, this is the beach for you. You can spend all day here "hunting" for shark teeth and go home with a huge load. My wife and I have been returning here every so often to add to our collection. It's a lot of fun! You won't leave without at least 1 shark... More

This is the beach everyone heads to to hunt for shark's teeth. We enjoy the view along the boardwalk walkway and from the lookout tower. Beach is not very wide but it is so peaceful and beautiful - natural beauty - nothing commercial around it. We love biking down to the beach and walking the boardwalk.
