Nice beach for sunsets and hunting for shark teeth. Stay away from very south part of the beach. Fishing is good all year round.

Nice stretch of beach where we actually found a shark tooth. It was overcast chilly and the wind was going in the right direction to make treasure hunting a pleasant experience. It doesn't hurt to have two restaurants and good parking. But I haven't been...More

There's really very few beaches in FL like Caspersen Beach. Sarasota County has wisely not only left it in its natural state, but has carefully added amenities which do not take away from the natural state. About 4 years ago a modern ADA approved rest...More

Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing! Fun way to spend the day looking for shark teeth. Felt like you were on your own island! Will definitely be back!

Great for shelling and sharks teeth. Just walk south for a secluded beach. Lots of turtle nests during the summer.

Had a great day in search of sharks teeth. Not many people, which was nice. Prefect for searching for treasures. Not a lot of open space if you want to run or walk far!

Plenty of activities to do...including biking, fishing and hunting for sharks teeth. Always good to bring a kite and some snorkeling gear for a noncommercial beach day. No hotels or condo's on Casperson Beach...just a occasional airplane going over. Just pack a picnic and enjoy Florida...More

Great beach for shells and shark teeth. Although, teeth are small and black. Not too great swimming. Rocks and a small drop off.
