Whenever the grandkids have been in the area they request that we take them here to look for sharks teeth. They always manage to get enough to make them happy. We, of course always go into the water too.

Caspersen Beach is a great place to go especially if your looking to get away from Venice Beach. There's more room to spread out and find your own space on the sand if your willing to take the time. I like the boardwalk area and...More

Always nice to walk along the beach at Casperson. Love being a local. You can walk along and find small sharks teeth especially after a storm churns up the sand and shore. It’s sad the erosion from the storms and damage hurricane Irma did to...More

Wow! An amazingly gorgeous Florida beach with a rocky difference. We took a leisurely drive from Venice, Florida and discovered this amazing Beach Park. This beach appears to have been left in its natural state as it is not groomed. There is free parking. There...More

This is a rocky, untouched slice of old Florida. Not the best swimming beach for kids, but it is a beautiful place to behold. Great for finding shark teeth. Limited parking as at most Venice beaches, but a nice boardwalk to the beach.

During our stay in Venice last week, we visited Caspersen Beach. We were very disappointed to see a very stoney beach with the dangerous erosion. . Anyone stepping into the water would drop off severely. We walked the pier to see the fishermen and through...More

We have always parked in the southern most parking lot. Never had an issue finding parking, but we try to get there early. Restroom and rinse showers available there. We have had the most luck finding shark teeth on the... More

I bring my own snorkel gear. If you are going for just shark teeth though, no snorkel gear is needed. There are plenty of shops nearby to pick some gear up; unsure about rental.
