Sitting on a six acre, facing Lake Dora, this park offers a Gazebo, a Pavilion, a view of seaplanes, a children splash park, picnic tables, fishing piers, two boat ramps, clean public restrooms, with nearby restaurants and shops. It is a very nice place to spend a few hours with the family. Also, there's a Seaplane Base, where you can... More

It is a place where seaplanes takeoff and land and you can actually purchase a ride and get an arial view of the lake and surrounding Lake County. In addition, there is a splash park for the little ones, the Orange Ball Express train, many restaurants within walking... More

This is a really nice little park right on the shore of Lake Dora in Tavares. We really enjoyed watching the sea planes take off and land on the lake and the kids really liked the little playground.

This is a small but perfect park for families with small kids. It has a playground and a splash park! Lake Dora and seaplane watching are the main attraction for the adults, however. Regarding the seaplanes, the Jones Brothers seaplane company is based on the lake! If you're still bored, you can walk to the Pavillon at the end of... More

Splash Park, Sea plane city, restaurants within short walking distance. What else can you say. Year around activities - Dragon boat races, antique boats civil was encampments, etc, etc. Free parking if you are early enough. Otherwise 5 story free parking garage. Picnic pavilions. All overlooking Lake Dora. Watch the sea planes and boats come and go.

The typical children's items like swings and slides are still here, but now they also have 'squirting water' things for the kids on warm, summer days. There is a nice walk by the lake, an excellent new pavilion that is... More
