Very interesting exhibits in the small museum.

We liked the many trails that go all over the area and the likelihood of seeing the many wildflowers and wild life.

Really enjoyed the museum and the nature walk, but the museum was the highlight. Great exhibitions that made understanding the Florida eco-systems much easier. The elevated walkway above the "swamp" was especially interesting.

Lots of walking paths, saw armadillos which was exciting. Easy to find, and you feel like you are in another world. The visitors centre was closed, but just wandering through the paths was a calming experience. Definitely a thing to do in Tarpon Springs.

Excellent elevated trails through the swampy Brooker Creek, rustic woodland and Florida "grasslands". One of my favorite places for a long peaceful walk. Trails go back for miles and some get a little uneven, but the pines and palms under the expansive blue skies are worth it. I've spotted gopher tortoises, alligators and loads of bird species on my numerous... More

We visited this preserve because we happened to be in the area and read about it under Things To Do on Trip advisor. It turned out to be spectacular. We arrived as a guided tour was starting. We saw three night herons and a shell of an armadillo. The guides were very knowledgeable. The visitor center was great with a... More

The trails are wide and fairly flat, and some get muddy with rain. We enjoyed our 4 mile hike and it went quickly since it is all flat, however there are trails of varying lengths with 4 miles being the longest. We saw a large deer and several birds. Family friendly with markers identifying trees and some nice boards explaining... More

IF you ever wondered what Florida was like before people got here, this is a great place to give you a taste of that era! The nature walks take you through the different Florida ecosystems and are best early morning or later afternoon for viewing wildlife. The education center is beautifully designed by award winning architect Ed Hoffman and the... More

A great experience not only for children of all ages but for adults wishing to reclaim a moment with nature. The nature trail is designed for short and long walks. But whatever length walk you choose to take you will encounter the wild birds and water species living in the preserve. Great photo opportunities!!

What an amazing place! The preserve is beautiful and untouched. The trails are clearly marked and easy to walk. Good washroom and parking facilities. Plan to spend time here, enjoying all it has to offer.
